We are always open to welcome new members, so please do get in touch to arrange to visit us.
We do require prospective members to pass an audition, which is in three stages:
Stage one
- A voice-test to check your range
- A short solo from a song of your choice
Stage two
- Sing (in quartet) your part to our audition song in the barbershop style
- Learn a few short bars of music (a tag) by ear and sing it in quartet
Stage three
- Sing (before the chorus) a song (in any style) of your choice
If you are unsuccessful at any stage of the audition, you’ll be given helpful and constructive feedback. You may re-apply after a year if you fail the first audition, after six months if you fail the second and after a month if you fail the third.
